Essendon District Aquatic works with each of our swimmers to develop to their full potential- both in and out of the water. We provide an optimal training environment to support each athlete’s performance. We focus on building competitive experience and a love of racing! Our Club is home to a community of swimmers who push themselves to achieve what they set out to, constantly striving for personal bests. Our athletes consistently achieve remarkable results at local, national and international competitions.

Our Club is closely aligned with Elite Swimming Performance who are recognised leaders in Learn To Swim and competitive swim coaching. Via this affiliation our swimmers have access to experienced coaches across four training venues in Melbourne’s north west.

It is our vision to be a recognised leader in the promotion of competitive swimming in our local community. We are proud of the breadth and depth of our programs, offering tailored opportunities for swimmers from junior development to elite levels.

We recognise our swimmers as individuals and growing young people outside of the water and work with them to build confidence, self-esteem and life skills that they can carry with them well beyond the pool. Whichever path they choose, EDA swimmers invariably develop a life long love of swimming and as a community, this makes us immensely proud.
