We started strong with Ella picking up her first State Medal in the 17-18yrs 1500m Freestyle, doing so in a 30second PB! We then had 14 relay teams entered, each team swimming strong and representing EDA with pride! Then we had Megan, Eve, Hunter and Josh in the mixed 4x50m Medley Relay during the finals session. The team finished in 17th swimming under their entry time! Australian Open SC Champs Day 1 - Results • Molly kicked things off with her 400m freestyle. She was so keen to get it over with she accidentally stopped at 350m! With a projected time of 7.10, she was looking at almost a 20sec PB! Indy was up next with the 50m backstroke, swimming just .1 over her PB. Molly was back in the pool for the 200m freestyle swimming a 6 second PB to progress through to the final & finishing 8th overall.

Metropolitan Championships Day 2: The morning continued strongly with our juniors once again setting the tone for the day. Daniele and Isaac picked up another 5 medals between them, which included a new Victorian Metro SC Record to Daniele in the 200

Daniele and Isaac picked up another 5 medals between them, which included a new Victorian Metro SC Record to Daniele in the 200m Breaststroke. Sophia added another top 10 placing and Lily swam at her first championship event at only 9yrs old! In the afternoon, our seniors continued the strong performances which included a Bronze medal to Izzy in the 1500m Freestyle! Overall we finished the meet with : 5x Gold, 5x Silver, 1 x Bronze & 23 Top 10 finishers.
